2012 Official Holidays in the Philippines

Pinoy Entrepreneurs can now prepare for the List of 2012 Holidays [Update: see 2014 and 2015 holidays]. Consistent with the requirement for an issuance by the President to fix national holidays, Malacanang issued Proclamation No. 295, declaring the regular holidays, special (non-working) days and special holidays throughout the Philippines. Other non-working days will be declared during the course of 2012, just like the declared holidays for 2013 (click here) holidays for 2011 and previous years. This list will be updated form time to time. In the meantime, the official legal holidays for 2012 are as follows:

January 1, 2012 (Sunday) - New Year’s Day

January 23, 2012 (Monday) - Chinese New Year

Hi Fe, there's no announcement yet declaring June 11 a holiday, and based on the apparent policy of the palace, it won't most probably be declared a holiday. Enjoy the holiday and make it meaningful!

I read somewhere that the "official date" for Eid'l Adha is October 26, 2012. I saw the previous comment of Suzette asking if eidl adha is November 5, 2012. Just want to know exactly when is eidl adha for 2012? Thank you!

Hello. Would like to ask if October 27 was also declared a national legal holiday? Sayang naman sweldo kung mag-absent. Thank you!
