2012 Official Holidays in the Philippines
Pinoy Entrepreneurs can now prepare for the List of 2012 Holidays. Consistent with the requirement for an issuance by the President to fix national holidays, Malacanang issued Proclamation No. 295, declaring the regular holidays, special (non-working) days and special holidays throughout the Philippines. Other non-working days will be declared during the course of 2012, just like the declared holidays for 2013 (click here) holidays for 2011 and previous years. This list will be updated form time to time. In the meantime, the official legal holidays for 2012 are as follows:

January 23, 2012 (Monday) - Chinese New Year
February 25, 2012 (Saturday) - EDSA Revolution Anniversary (for all schools)
April 5, 2012 - Maundy Thursday
April 6, 2012 - Good Friday
April 9, 2012 (Monday) - Araw ng Kagitingan
May 1, 2012 (Tuesday) - Labor Day
June 12, 2012 (Tuesday) - Independence Day
August 20, 2012 (Monday) - Eid'l Fitr (per Proclamation 455)
August 21, 2012 (Tuesday) - Ninoy Aquino Day
August 27, 2012 (Last Monday of August) - National Heroes Day
October 26, 2012 - Eidul Adha / Eid'l Adha (Friday; per Proclamation 488)
November 1, 2012 (Thursday) - All Saints Day
November 2, 2012 (Friday) - Additional special (non-working) day
November 30, 2012 (Friday) - Bonifacio Day
December 24, 2012 (Monday) - Special non-working day (per Proclamation 361)
December 25, 2012 (Tuesday) - Christmas Day
December 30, 2012 (Sunday) - Rizal Day
December 31, 2012 (Monday) - Last Day of the Year

Hi Fe, there's no announcement yet declaring June 11 a holiday, and based on the apparent policy of the palace, it won't most probably be declared a holiday. Enjoy the holiday and make it meaningful!
