It's gratifying to see so many sites similar to the Pinoy Entrepreneurs (or, rather, to which this Pinoy Entrepreneurs site is similar). This site is relatively new, if we reckon it from the heart-wrenching server crash, but regardless of who came first, the important matter is for each site to serve the purpose of promoting Filipino entrepreneurship.
For instance, if you Google-search for any of the following search strings - Pinoy entrepreneurs, Filipino entrepreneurs, Filipino entrepreneur, Pinoy entrepreneur, Philippines entrepreneurs - you'll most likely hit the following sites: GoNegosyo, Pinoy Entrepreneur, EntrePinoy, Successful Filipino entrepreneur, Entrepreneur Philippines, Pinoy Entrepreneur, The Filipino Entrepreneur and, of course, our very own Pinoy Entrepreneur community. So, what's the importance of having all these site floating around the internet? Well, nothing really, unless you're interested in getting information that may be of interest to Filipino Entrepreneurs, and, more importantly, of helping each other to move forward. Yes, business is about competition, but it's also about cooperation. This site is not competing with, but complementing, the other Pinoy Entrepreneur sites out there. In fact, we're more than happy to point to them - as we already did - if there are great information that should be known to the Pinoy Entrepreneurs. This site was created with no specific purpose, except to put forward the motto: In a global economy dominated by entrenched giants, the Pinoy Entrepreneurs can still make it big (and work together). If there are other great uses or purposes along the way, then we'll be more than happy to pursue those.
