"The Business in Development (BiD) Challenge Philippines is a business plan competition, which aims to generate new and innovative business ideas that combine poverty reduction and profit. Viable ideas are matched with potential investors." This is the charaterization of the BiD Challenge Philippines, which we came across in a today's newspaper. This project appears to be interesting and helpful, which is the reason why we're writing about it here.
 Winners will receive a start-up capital from a pool of P1 Million prize money, plus professional coaching and exposure to a network of business contacts and financiers. The process basically involves the submission of a 3-page business concept.
