LS Agri-Industrial Machineries Incorporated, Tacloban, Leyte introduces two new Tractor series from South Koreas leading manufacturer - LS Tractors.

LS Agri-Industrial Machineries Inc. (LS AIMI) distributes tractors exclusively in the Philippines manufactured by LS, a subsidiary of the better known Korean manufacturer LG Electronics. Since LG started their tractor business in 1977 the company has emerged as the leading company in Korean market. It has required a good reputation with its high quality and technology that passed USA and European standards, and to other major markets. The volume of overseas market has been growing drastically and rapidly since 1996.   LS AIMI is at present offering the Rio-series 28~47HP (Compact) and the 43~57HP U-series (Utility) and will expose Plus-series 70~90HP in 2008.

The LS brand sprung out of company LG (top 100 worldwide) which was divided into three groups LG, LS and GS based on their business specialties in 2003. The new factory (2006) with a production capacity of 20 000 units yearly is located at Jeon-ju plant (acreage 143,000m2), about 2.5 hours drive from center of Seoul. LS have a long term vision to become a Major manufacturer in compact and utility ranges of tractor by exporting 20,000 units to global market in 2012. Export market covers USA, Canada, Japan, Oceania, Europe, some South Asian countries, and Brazil.
