We have previously noted that Bonifacio Day, which is traditionally celebrated every 30 November, remains on that date. The President already issued a Proclamation about this matter; Bonifacio Day is not being transferred to the nearest Monday, which is 3 December 2007.

R.A. No. 9492 (dated 24 July 2007), which is the act rationalizing the celebration of national holidays, provides that Bonifacio Day is to be scheduled on the Monday nearest November 30. If we follow this explicit provision of law, Bonifacio Day would logically be scheduled on the Monday after November 30, which is December 3. 

Still, as noted in Proclamation No. 1353, Bonifacio Day (30 November 2007, a Friday) need not be moved to the nearest Monday as provided under RA No. 9492 because the day falls on a Friday, and, thus, already serves the purpose of RA No. 9492. If the President has changed her mind, however, and issued another Proclamation, then kindly let us know. You may also want to check the rest of the public holidays for October, November and December (2007) in the Philippines.
