How to Post in Pinoy Entrepreneurs (Group) Blog Print E-mail
We already pointed to the related article on how to post in the Pinoy Entrepreneurs (Group) Blog. You can post an announcement regarding your business, products or services, or write an article that may be of help to other Pinoy Entrepreneurs. For convenience, however, let's retrace the steps:

Log in. The log in module is at the lower portion of the right sidebar. As of now, only registered users who have been promoted to "authors" may post in the Group Blog, but we're working on finding a way to allow all registered users to do so. All existing registered users who have logged in at least once are automatically categorized as "Authors". By the way, the default landing page after log in is the Main Page, so just click the Group Blog link at the Top Menu to go back.

Click the "Write in Group Blog" link at the "User Menu", also found at the right sidebar. The toolbar for encoding your blog entry (also known as the WYSIWYG or "what you see is what you get" editor)  is pretty much like Microsoft Word. Provide the title, select the category, then type away (there are 3 categories: Blogging, Products and Services and Visit the Philippines). The two boxes ("Introtext" and "Main Text") are basically the same, except that readers see the "Main Text" after clicking the "Read More" button at the bottom of the post. Please use this feature to conserve space in the Group Blog's front page.

Attaching photos.  Click this button -- -- then provide the image location (right-click on the image, perhaps from Multiply or Flickr, then left-click "Save Image As").

May we suggest for you to first draft the article in Notepad because you're autmatically logged out if you take too long in drafting the post. The result isn't good -- the composed message will vanish into thin air, and you'll probably hate us for it. So, please, compose it first outside. Also, don't worry if the post takes some time to appear.

If you have any questions, please see the "Site Help" topic or simply post a comment here. Everyone is encouraged to test-run this component and let us know if there are bugs or problems, or any suggestions for that matter.
