The Pinoy Entrepreneurs Wiki Print E-mail
(Update: Pinoy Entrepreneurs Wiki discontinued.) To allow more exposure for Pinoy Entrepreneurs and to enable them to crreate their own content, the Pinoy Entrepreneurs Wiki has just been created (see also Wiki button at the Top Menu). Pinoy Entrepreneurs can write a wiki page about their businesses or entrepreneurial endeavors, or any matter that would be relevant to the entire Pinoy Entrepreneursexternal link community.

A wiki is a collaborative website which can be directly edited by anyone with access to it. A wiki enables documents to be written collaboratively, in a simple markup language using a web browser. A single page in a wiki is referred to as a "wiki page", while the entire body of pages, which are usually highly interconnected via hyperlinks, is "the wiki". A wiki is essentially a database for creating, browsing and searching information. A defining characteristic of wiki technology is the ease with which pages can be created and updated. There is no review before modifications are accepted.

The accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented here is not warranted. Anyone who feels that a page is objectionable MUST immediately notify the administrator or moderators. They have the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that objectionable pages may not be removed or edited immediately.

How to register:

Click the "Register" button at the bottom of the left sidebar, then enter the required information. That's it. After logging in, you could create new pages or add to existing pages. Please use this feature responsibly.

How to create a new wiki page:

You could start creating pages here. Just put a double open parenthesis - like this "((" - before the page title and a double close parenthesis after that title - like this "))". After you do that, you'll see a question mark question mark (?) after the word or phrase. You're halfway there.

If you see a question mark (?) after a word or phrase, you could click that question mark and start editing the page. As soon as you finish editing or writing on that page, the question mark will disappear (and the word or phrase will automatically be linked to the page). Please use this page to implement the procedure discussed above.

Here are sample wikis, all of which are also found in this site: Metro Eventscape Planners, Daigdig Pinoy and  12 Little Things Every Filipino Can Do to Help Our Country.
