Is it true that Friday (Oct. 2, 2009) was declared as a "Clean-Up Day" (non-working holiday) due to Typhoon Ondoy?

Having lots of holidays has nothing to do with; "being a poor country". we're poor because our system of government is owned by pigs and ran by crocs.

Here's another holiday to be added for November 2009!

12 April 2009

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo today formally signed the executive order declaring Nov. 27 and 28 this year as national non-working holidays to make it easier for Filipino Muslims all over the Philippines to celebrate the Islamic festival, Eid al-Adha.

The executive order is in addition to Republic Act 9177 which had declared in 2005 as a national holiday the celebration of Eid al-Fitr among Filipino Muslims.

Not only BPO's and Call Centers are 24/7, the container port only closes 3 times a year yes runs 24/7!
