Since April 11 is not declared, those who have Saturday schedule are compelled to work, unless the company itself could declare it as a company holiday, like some...
I emailed the Office of the Press Secretary yesterday and received their reply, that April 11, 2009- Black Saturday is considered a non working holiday. You can email them at opsnews2004@gmail.com for confirmation. Thanks.
Is april 6 holiday was moved to april 8 instead? I thought that's why it was already proclaimed 6 months earlier so others can already plan their vacation ahead of time.
Since April 11 (Black Saturday) is not included in proclamation1699, does that mean that those who have Saturday work schedule are compelled to work on the said date like regular working day?
I love a non-working holiday as much as the next guy, but this is purely ridiculous that we even expect April 7 and 8 to be declared as such. Sounds like we're such a lazy race.
