Thanks for these. But do you know if May 1 will be moved?

Donnah, we still don't know if February 25 will be declared as a special non-working holiday. We'll post the update as soon as we get hold of the Proclamation covering the EDSA People Power holiday (well, if any).

Update, 13 February 2008: Today's reports quote Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita as saying that February 25 is a WORKING holiday. Sorry guys, no long weekend.

Second update, 18 Feb: Well, Proclamation 1462 was issued today, declaring 25 Feb as a non-working holiday.

Is Monday -- February 25, 2008 -- a holiday this 2008? February 25 had been declared as a non-working holiday in previous years, in celebration of the EDSA Revolution Anniversary.

Yes, you're correct that there should be a proclamation by now, but I haven't seen it. We'll post it here as soon as we get our hands on that proclamation. On the other hand, should you happen to have a copy of it, then by all means share it with the rest of the community. Thanks.
