National Regular and Special Holidays for 2008 in the Philippines

Results 11 - 15 of 24

Grace/Helen, we're not yet aware of any Proclamation declaring October 31, 2008 as a holiday. We'll update the list as soon as we receive the information, so please drop by from time to time. Thank you.

Update (Oct 23): Reports have quoted Sec. Eduardo Ermita saying that October 31, eve of all Saint's Day, won't be declared as a holiday. He mentioned, however, that private employers may opt to have a half-day work on October so employees could prepare for travel to the provinces.

Is Oct 31 a holiday? Please confirm so that we can go to our provinces as early as possible and spend more time with our family.

Anne, thank you very much. To minimize confusion, the post had been revised, chronologically listing the holidays (instead of dividing them between regular and special non-working holidays).

this is very informative. thanks for posting. however, pls update your list, it is quite misleading. dec29 is a monday, not thursday. and as per proclamation 1463, rizal day holiday is on dec30. dec29 is an additional holiday.

also, dec29 (monday) thru jan1 (thursday) are all holidays. does anyone know if jan 2 2009 (friday) is also a holiday?
